Every promotional website, even this one, has its testimonials letting you know how well their product has worked for their customers. But I’m a marketing rep too and I wouldn’t be selling Sonic Rocks if they hadn’t worked as well as they have for me. So here’s my testimonial:
I was at a trade show working with a new buyer at a construction company I work with. The buyer was very green—just getting into the field—but she had already done a large number of trade shows in a short period of time. She had definitely hit the ground running, but even she was getting lapped, as it were, by all the vendors at this particular trade show! Around 100 vendors were on display with booths full of every promo item under the sun: mugs, caps, and all kids of blinking trinkets. Overwhelmed by the blur of it all, she turned to ask me: “Look, there is a ton of stuff here. What’s the best trade show item here that you can find?”
I had been challenged. I scanned the show booth by booth until I happened to end up by my favorite vendor, who happened to have Sonic Rocks out on display. The light bulb in my head clicked on. “Oh yeah! I’ve done these for a few clients before, and they turn out great every time!” I grab one of the tins containing a pair of the magnets and race back to the buyer. The look of delight on her face when she tossed them in the air to see what they’d do told me she was sold. Pretty soon she was excitedly talking to a few others she’d met at the trade show about these crazy rocks her rep found for her!
